Solihull Seals

The Solihull Swimming Club for the Disabled are known as the Seals. The club meets every Monday 8:00pm – 9:15pm at Tudor Grange Leisure Centre. They’re open to all disabilities and host regular social events outside the pool. It’s a great way to get into club swimming for just £15.00 a year.

If you just want to swim with friends or a carer, North Solihull Sports Centre and Tudor Grange Leisure Centre charge just 90p for entry to any general public session and carers go free.

Solihull Special Olympics Club

If you are 8 – 24 years old and have a learning disability, you are invited to join the Special Olympics Club. The club holds athletics and football at Hazel Oak School on Thursdays 3:30pm – 4:30pm, and swimming on alternate Thursdays at North Solihull Sports Centre. Each session is only £2.00.

Warwickshire Bears Wheelchair Basketball Club

You can be a seasoned wheelchair basketball player or a complete beginner, it doesn’t matter to the Warwickshire Bears as they welcome disabled players of all ages and abilities. The club is proud of its inclusivity and encourages play with mixed teams of able bodied and disabled players. The club practice on Tuesday evenings, 6:00pm – 7:30pm (juniors and beginners) and 7:30pm – 9:30pm (senior players), at Warwickshire College.

Colebridge Table Tennis Club

Disability table tennis is a popular sport and sessions take place at the Colebridge club every Thursday 5:00pm – 6:30pm. Each session is £3.00 per person.

Shirley Golf Club offer holiday courses in competitive golf for disabled children aged 6 – 18 years old. It’s a unique opportunity to learn all you’ll need to know about golf clubs, irons, the golf course and you’ll get to grips with playing the sport itself.
